Digital Tools
Students should intentionally design their digital footprint and associate available digital technology as learning tools. Educators should be fluent in identifying suitable learning tools for their students.

Inquiry Minded
Students learn best when they embark on an educational journey to assess learning gaps. Students should individually develop competency to ask thoughtful questions, to research, to document and to present their insights.

Co-regulation
Using shared language helps all learners to monitor and make adjustments to their words and actions. Teaching strategies to all students allows peers to co-regulate together. Additionally, families can also help practice strategies and respond in a way that supports self-regulation.

Secondary School Principal
Chris Coates
Alice is a joy to work with. She went into teaching for all of the right reasons, most notably, a love of children and a desire to make the lives of others better. She is dedicated, hard working, and principled - she always does the right thing, even when others aren't watching. She brings incredible joy to the school community, and this is felt by both students and her teaching colleagues. Alice is an outstanding teacher who has had a wonderfully positive impact at TIS in a very short period of time.
